Today I am looking for video on the Museum Library after WW2 through to the 1980. I was unable to locate a video film from that era but discovered a more recent one showing the original facade of the museum and a good view of the round reading room which reminded me that of similar design to that at the State Library of Victoria.
With further research I discovered that the British library consists of other library services. They consist of The National Central Library (London 1916), the National Lending Library for Science and Technology (NLLST) service since 1961in Boston Spa, Yorkshire joined services in 1973 as the British Lending Library Division (BLLD).
The following day I decided to search the Swinburne Library for more infomation and came across a link that took me to "Inside" British Library web link from which I discovered the history of the Museum Newspaper Repository which is part of the current day library's collection.
